This gently used HM5 hematology analyzer is a compact, fully automated Complete Blood Cell (CBC) counter for diagnostic use in veterinary clinics. The Vetscan Classic is a chemistry analyzer that will run a battery of tests depending on the panel chosen. Easy one step process and self cleaning machine that can also be used in the field.
The VetScan HM5 system features the following components:
· The hematology analyzer itself, including a keypad, display and internal printer
· An external keyboard that can be connected to the analyzer
· A reagent pack, including a diluent, lyse agent, Lyse2, cleaner, and rinse solution, each in its own container.
The system is very simple to use, gives accurate results and takes up very little space. I have never had a problem with this system. My practice is simply not large enough to warrant the use and ownership of the equipment.
